The CODiE Awards - established in 1986 and given each year by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) - utilize both journalist and peer-company reviews to identify the leaders and innovators in 76 categories across the software, digital content and education technology industries. This year, 600 companies submitted more than 1,100 CODiE nominations. A panel of expert judges narrowed the field to 340 nominees, from which the 2008 CODiE winners were chosen.
The winners of the 23rd Annual CODiE Awards were honored at a black-tie gala on May 20 at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, CA. Hundreds of technology executives attended the gala event to recognize and congratulate the winners.
