Mintz Levin's Palo Alto Expansion Continues

- Mintz Levin Shannon Vander Hook, 212-575-4545 Braden L. Berg, who most recently practiced in the Corporate and Securities section of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C., has joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. as a Member in the Palo Alto office, practicing in the Corporate Section.
Mr. Berg's arrival continues the expansion of Mintz Levin's Palo Alto office and follows the recent addition of Bryan J. Sinclair, Karineh Khachatourian and Jeffrey M. Ratinoff, a group of intellectual property attorneys from Fish & Richardson, who joined the firm's Palo Alto office two weeks ago.
Mr. Berg began his career in Mintz Levin's Washington, D.C. office as an associate in the firm's Federal Section. For more than nine years he was with Wilson Sonsini specializing in representing emerging growth technology companies and leading venture capital firms in a broad range of corporate and securities law matters, including equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, intellectual property licensing, employment and equity compensation and corporate governance. Mr. Berg's clients are leading companies and investors in the fields of clean technology and renewable energy, software, semiconductors, digital media and Internet security.

Mr. Berg earned his B.A. cum laude with departmental honors from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
