N.I.R. Group, LLC Promotes Four Investment Professionals

Group, LLC ("NIR Group"), one of the largest and most active Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) investment fund managers in the world, has promoted four investment professionals. Karim Rozwadowski has been promoted to senior analyst. Mark S. Grober, Barry M. Lippe and Ted Moran have been promoted to analyst. All four report to Corey S. Ribotsky, the firm's managing member.

In his new position as senior analyst, Mr. Rozwadowski will lead the deal team. Rozwadowski brings extensive investment experience from his work at activist hedge fund Wyser-Pratte Management & Co. as well as legal experience on private equity and mergers and acquisitions transactions through his tenure with Simpson Thatcher and Bartlett LLP.
A graduate of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University with a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, Mr. Rozwadowski has also completed course work at Harvard Business School and the London School of Economics. He is currently a candidate in the CFA program and is the co-author of "Buyout Competition: The emergence of hedge funds in a world of private equity," published in the Winter 2005 issue of The Journal of Private Equity.
As analysts, Mr. Grober, Mr. Lippe and Mr. Moran are responsible for analyzing current and future deals as well as performing due diligence.
Prior to joining NIR, Mr. Grober worked for First Investors Corporation, an investment and insurance company. A graduate of the School of Management at Binghamton University with a Bachelor in Finance, he is licensed with a NASD Series 6 and 63 and has been certified by the Investment Banking Institute, located in New York, NY.
Mr. Lippe was previously a sales associate for DealFlow Media, Inc., publisher of The PIPEs Report and The Reverse Merger Report. He is a graduate of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.
During his four years at Siena College School of Business, Mr. Moran was elected to the MAAC All-Academic team and the Siena College President and Dean's list while earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance. Simultaneously, he held a financial advisory internship position with Smith Barney, a division of Citigroup Global Markets. At Smith Barney, he assisted senior wealth management advisors with portfolio management.
