Thompson National Properties Acquires First Assets, Oakwood Tower and One Lee Park West, in Dallas, Texas

www.tnpre.com - Jack Maurer, vice-chairman at Thompson National Properties, LLC, announced today the May 12 acquisition of two value-add properties, Oakwood Tower and One Lee Park West, in Dallas, Texas on behalf of the Bruin Fund, a $250 million opportunity fund.

"We are executing our business plan at an accelerated pace and we are right on

track with our first acquisition," said Maurer.

Oakwood Tower and One Lee Park West, located in Uptown/Turtle Creek, an area of Dallas, are two Class B multi-story office buildings totaling approximately 118,370 leasable square feet. Built in 1964 and 1972, the properties are designed for smaller tenants ranging from 500 to 6,000 square feet.

Darryll Goodman, senior vice president, asset management, reports, "Rents are 30 to 40 percent below market and provide substantial opportunity for value creation."

Adam Levinson of Cohen Financial arranged the financing with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, LLC.
